As an Engineer/Executive Engineer of the Nuclear Science and Technology Department in the Regulation Division, the officer will be responsible for the following:

• Ensure that Singapore is able to fulfil its obligations under various international conventions and agreements on nuclear safety, security and safeguards
• Implement activities tasked by inter-ministry committee and its working groups
• Provide technical support and advice on nuclear safety, security and safeguards matters to relevant government agencies

[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting regular audits on the Public Waste Collector(s)’ refuse and recyclables collection services in the sector(s);

• Investigating and following up on feedback from the public and other stakeholders on refuse and recyclables collection issues in the assigned sector(s);

• Conducting site inspections and/or arranging joint inspections with other stakeholders in response to feedback, where necessary;

• Drafting and submitting investigation reports with recommended follow-up actions to your Manager(s);

• Monitoring the Public Waste Collection contractual requirements and working with the Public Waste Collectors to ensure compliance with contractual deliverables;

• Working on tasks, projects and events as assigned
