- Project Delivery Management: Plan technical deliverables, manage and coordinate across different application teams, monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery, and provide status updates.
- Requirements Management: Partner with subject matter experts to understand and implement functional and technical requirements, and provide systems input to specification phase.
- Design & Development: Partner with Domain Architects, Dev. Manager, and Security Architect to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
- Test Management: Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of SIT, UAT testing, performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results .
- Implementation Management: Prepare technical implementation plan across application teams, coordinate technical implementation activities, and ensure production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.
In terms of skills and experience, a Technology Delivery Manager should have:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing end-to-end implementation of projects
- Experience with managing and working with external vendors/teams
- Strong database skills, including the ability to use and understand databases for analysis and design
- Ability to analyze requirements and form solutions for applications
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
