As a Storekeeper, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our store.
Job Description:
- Goods Verification: Verify that received goods match the supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Handling: Perform picking, packing, loading, and unloading of goods with attention to detail and safety.
- Inventory Management: Ensure goods are stored and retrieved from the correct locations and promptly entered into the inventory management system. Assist in bi-monthly stock forecasting to optimize inventory levels.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock receipts and issues.
- Stock Management: Manage stock that is near expiry and in poor condition, ensuring timely action is taken to minimize losses.
- Stock Takes: Conduct daily random routine stock takes to ensure physical counts align with system records and address any discrepencies.
- Shortages & Spares: Keep detailed records of stock shortages and spares to facilitate inventory control.
- Safety Monitoring: Monitor work areas to ensure compliance with safety practices and protocols.
- Housekeeping: Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Reporting: Prepare and provide daily and monthly reports on inventory status and stock activities.
Qualifications:
- GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of similar job experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail adn organization skills.
- Abilitiy to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and basic compute skills.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, on a rotational shift, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to read and write in English.
Others:
- Male candidates preferred.
- Singaporean or PR only.
- Candidates who can start immediately will be given preference.
- Working Days: 5 working days a week with rotating off days, either Wednesday or Saturday.
- Business Hours: Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, and Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
