Job Title: Accountant (Fixed term contract, 6 months)

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidated accounts, prepare payments for approval, prepare management accounts, support annual audit process and tracking of project costs. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payment Preparation: Prepare payment requests for approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Project Costing: Maintain, track and analyze project costs against approved budget, ensuring all expenditures are accurately recorded.
• Management Accounts: Prepare management accounts, including maintaining monthly reconciliations, ledgers and supporting worksheets.
• Consolidation: Support the preparation of the consolidated accounts on a eriodic basis.
• Audit Support: Assist in the audit process by gathering and preparing necessary documentation, coordinating with auditors, and responding to inquiries to ensure smooth audit process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
