PURPOSE
This position reports directly to the Regional Managing Director, South Asia & Oceania.
As the Vice President & Chief of the Regional Corporate Strategy Headquarter, he/she will lead the team at the regional headquarter, overseeing the corporate management of 26 companies in 15 countries, of all matters contributing to organizational development, strengthening of the management base, and governance to realize the NX Group's regional growth strategy.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge of making any decisions and executing operations for all matters related to corporate management, including the determination of business plan and organization structure plan, executing capital matters, managing internal control and finance and accounting, and making decisions in human resources for entire South Asia and Oceania region.
- Regional Corporate Strategy Headquarter covers the following departments:
Risk Management, Human Resources Strategy, Finance and Accounting, Administration, Information System, Safety and Quality Promotion.
- South Asia and Oceania region consist of 26 companies and 3 branches (in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand).
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Minimum of 20 years’ experience in forwarding and logistics.
- Fluent Japanese language skills to communicate with global headquarter in Japan
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans.
- Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company.
- Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices.
