We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst for a 9-month contract with one of our MNC clients in Pasir Ris. This role requires a strong background in the semiconductor industry, a proven track record in data management, business intelligence, and the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and understand current workflows, processes, tools, and data needs, and propose effective solutions.
• Conduct end-to-end business process mapping, including current state analysis and future state planning to drive process improvements.
• Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and project deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Leverage Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query to design, optimize, and deliver interactive dashboards and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and optimization of reports for enhanced performance and user experience.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation using Power BI and other data analysis tools.
• Provide training and support to end-users, enabling them to maximize Power BI functionalities and adopt data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, sales, and operations, to drive business initiatives and deliver results.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the semiconductor industry.
• Actively incorporate feedback from users to enhance report effectiveness and address evolving business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a preference for those with semiconductor industry experience.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry trends and practices is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
