<Responsibilities & Duties>

1) Prepare performance/portfolio analysis reports of Asia Equity / Fixed Income portfolios for internal investment

managers

2) Conduct internal performance review meetings

3) Assist on financial analysis reporting for existing and targeting clients

4) Communicate with data engineers and quantitative analysts in Tokyo HQ (Innovation Lab) with regard to input

data

5) Responsible for the maintenance and measurement of data with the enhancement and implementation of

systems and software infrastructure and managing transition project

6) Work with internal teams in the implementation of new Performance/Rating/ESG reporting to ensure smooth

delivery according to stakeholders requirements

<Required>

1) More than 1-2 years of experience in Banking or Asset Management industry- especially in quantitative analysis

and investment management

2) Proficiency in mathematics and statistics and understanding of major quantitative analysis / performance

measurement topics, including attribution models for Equity / Fixed Income, GIPS®, etc. Understanding of

fundamental data and characteristic data for Equity / Fixed Income

3) Ability to liaise with a broad range of counterparties such as investment team, marketing team, and middle-

back team to develop business

4) Expertise in database-handling (e.g. SQL) and programming skills in Excel VBA, Python

5) Ability to use financial analysis platform such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Barra

6) A good Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical discipline

<Preferred>

1) Knowledge on the activities of institutional investors, and client support operations for such investors

2) Experience in handling project work and focus on independent assessment, preparation, measurement,

monitoring, and reporting of performance and risk of the various investment portfolios

3) Have desirability to detail when preparing and validating performance data and be accountable for the timely

delivery of reports to stakeholders

4) Qualification related to financial market such as (CFA® Chartered Financial Analyst- Level1/2/3).

< Responsibilities & Duties >

1) Perform quantitative analysis.

2) For Equity Investment;

• Quantitative research for ESG related factors and stock prices.
• Evaluate and implement effectiveness of earning revisions.
• Quantitative research for effectiveness of internal ratings and performances in Asia equity especially for China market.

3) For Fixed Income investment;

• Quantitative research with ESG related factors to help integrations in investment processes.
• Collaborate with the Headquarters in Tokyo and global fixed income investment teams to help ESG integrations.
• Investment performance analysis with quantitative approaches.
• Quantitative modelling for Asia fixed income markets.

4) Develop a new products and/or investment models with implementations of AI and machine learnings.

5) Provide explanations of mathematically complicated model, performances and other analytic methods to external stakeholders in Japan in a simplified manner comprehensible to those without a mathematical background.

<Required>

1) More than 4 years of experience in Asset Management industry.

2) More than 3 years of experiences in quantitative analysis and operational processes.

3) Working experience in asset management industry developing and maintain Quantitative Investment Model.

4) Strong expertise in macro-economic and market data analysis.

5) Experience in preparing performance report for clients or fund evaluation agencies.

6) Higher quality skills of exploring `Alternative Data (Patent, ESG, Point of Sales and Tick).

7) Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient with Word/PowerPoint/Access/Excel and VBA programming.

8) OMS, Financial data services: Excellent command of CR-IMS and Bloomberg.

9) Japanese language skill of JLPT N1 or equivalent to be able to directly provide clear and accurate explanation on complicated model, performances and other analytic methods to external stakeholders in Japan.

<Preferred>

1) A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science (Information System) Master’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
