Main Responsibilities:

• Overviewing existing fleet, assisting in developing future fleet, overview of construction and review of various business cases.
• In-depth knowledge of modern engine technology, BOG management systems and cargo handling systems.
• Experienced in terminal assessments and vetting for allowing trading flexibility of the fleet.
• Communicate with Owners, Charterers and internally as required and to act as the lead focal point for technical matters.
• Responsible to follow up and evaluate the technical budgets of the vessels; incorporating annual budget development, monitoring OPEX/CAPEX spend as well as effectively overviewing dry-docking budgets, performance, and overall expenditure.
• Able to lead the implementation of LNG technical principles and fundamental competencies in the internal operational and trading processes, provide operational and asset lifecycle management support in close collaboration with other parts of the group.
• Overview of site offices or charterer’s representatives at shipyards
• Provide guidance on practical commercial matters.

Experience:

Should have 10+ years from the shipping industry, at least 5 years with LNG with oil major or charterer, with background as a Class I Chief Engineer and technical superintendent. Registered as a Chartered Marine Engineer with IMarEST would be preferable. LNG Newbuilding Experience with and relation with S. Korean Yards will be considered a plus.

Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. opens a position of Accountant (based in Singapore). The position is to support the Chief Accountant with a wide variety of functions which include transactional processing, cost allocation, program and annual audit support and the implementation of financial and compliance controls. S/He serves as a key resource for the organization and provides daily financial oversight to ensure that the financial records are complete, accurate and comply with accepted accounting principles, policies, and regulations, to facilitate solid decision support.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounting tasks and transaction processing functions (GL, AP, AR, reconciliation, etc);
• Track all transactions, verify, allocate and perform error-free data postage into the accounting system.
• Maintain the financial books and records in accordance with financial reporting standards and statutory requirement, including assessing the impact of changes in accounting standards and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of the Group’s business activities.
• Review the reconciliation of accounting to management systems to ensure the accuracy of accounting ledger.
• Perform month-end closing to ensure accurate and timely group and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditor, and service providers where required.
• Assist with annual and special audits and ensure follow-up on outstanding issues raised from the auditors’ findings.
• Participates in project activities of various workgroups in financial, accounting, and financial controlling areas
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/…), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
• Assist with year-end financial audits and the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory finance statements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the overall company’s goals and objectives are achieved

Basic requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, CPA/ACCA or relevant degree.
• 5 to 7 years of working experience as an Accountant.
• Prior experience in commodity trading industry or shipping industry would a big plus.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and basic tax knowledge
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitasks.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and Word.
• Prior experience with 1C accounting software would be a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must; fluent Russian is important for day to day communication with accounting team in HQ and for reflecting accounting operations in internal software.
• A self-starter who can plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
• Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds.

Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. opens a position of Shipping Admin Support in Singapore. The position is to support shipping operators in registering factual and planned data related to shipping activity in company’s inhouse system on timely basis.

Main Responsibilities:

• Registration of contracts, cost invoices and supporting documentation in accounting system including checks, updates, management of data.
• Invoices distribution and costs allocation
• Calculate and reconcile the monthly LNG/Bunker quantity expenditure for vessels as well as input bunker usage and consumption for each voyage.
• Monthly reflecting LNG, bunker consumption for own needs according to the ships’ noon-reports.
• Revenue invoices issuing for sub-charterers (including freight, delivery-redelivery bunker and heel, positioning bonuses and any other related invoices) and reconciliations of Revenue and Cost invoices for off-set.
• Timely initiative of payment process for costs invoices (after shipping ops check the invoice or completeness and accuracy, process the invoice in inhouse system and send for directors’ approval)

Requirements:

• Preferably Diploma Holder or above
• Preferably with 2-3 years in the Shipping Industry with background of admin/accounts/operation support role.
• Good communication skills, ability to perform administrative duties with accuracy.

Job Description

Candidate must be well informed about the latest LNG industry practice, have good experience in drafting and supporting performance of long-term LNG SPAs, spot LNG transactions and be able to work closely with commercial team in order to find solutions in the challenging environment and implement them in the well thought agreements. This is a temporary contract role for maternity cover.

Responsibilities:

· Draft and review long-term and short-term sales and purchase agreements for LNG;

· Draft all transactional documents associated with LNG sales;

· Identify risks and propose alternative structures to reduce risks exposure in prospective transactions;

· Support long-term and short-term sales and purchase agreements negotiations by commercial teams;

· Explain application of legal terms, give legal advice and perform legal research;

· Identify legal risks and providing solutions for them in executed documents;

· Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect LNG industry.

Requirements:

· Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university with about 10 years relevant working experience;

· Admission to practice English law is an advantage;

· Ability to speak Russian is an advantage;

· Minimum 5 years of experience in LNG industry;

· Excellent English;

· Excellent negotiating and drafting skills;

· Understanding and knowledge of commercial and corporate law;

Main responsibilities:

· To analyse revenue and related expense reporting for the company;

· To prepare comparative analysis and commentary to department heads and Finance team;

· To perform financial analysis, participate in financial planning processes and implement overall business plans;

· To oversee the execution of the company budget;

· To perform regular financial analysis, sales forecasting, analysing a company`s sales and overall performance, and managing financial data.

Control Measures:

· Ensure data integrity across different systems. Maintain control environment for all issues;

· Perform the control and verification of LNG, natural gas, liquid hydrocarbons, shipping & freight and hedging operations trade deals;

· Support the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards and systems;

· Prepare quarterly Internal Control forms.

Finance analysis and reporting:

· Support all departments’ revenue- and expense-reporting, ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of figures, analysis and comments;

· Ensure all local, regional and corporate reporting for department is completed accurately and on-time as directed;

· Support department in pursuit of financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge;

· Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts;

Budgeting:

· Participate in preparing budgets and outline important budgeting schedules throughout an organization;

· Participate in maintaining the annual budget, monitor variances, summarize trends and investigate budget deficiencies;

· Report material budgeting variances or expenditure variances to management;

Requirements:

· University degree in finance or economic field;

· Minimum 2 to 5 years of total experience in finance (as finance analyst / business controller / or auditor (internal or external auditor)

· Preferably in LNG, Oil and Gas or shipping or industries; but open to manufacturing or audit sectors as well.

· Excel advanced level;

· Accurate, capable to work under pressure and meet tough deadlines;

· Strong communication skills;

· Fluent English is a must for day-to-day business communication. Russian would be an advantage for day-to-day communication with HQ Finance.
