Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR Executive to join our team. As a HR Executive, you will play a vital role in executing various HR duties. You will be responsible for handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, salary and benefit administration, offboarding activities, and employee engagement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional at the early stage of their career to gain valuable experience across the HR spectrum.
Responsibilities
- Handle recruitment processes such as posting job listings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding employees
- Manage the employee lifecycle from onboard to offboard, ensuring a smooth transition between the various stages with the right processes, documentation and information.
- Perform monthly payroll processing, CPF contributions, submission of tax clearance.
- Application, renewal, cancellation of Work Passes
- Process and review employee claims before handover to the finance department.
- Support in conducting performance reviews with stakeholders.
- Work with managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies and resolve HR-related issues
- Provide administrative support such as maintenance of staff records, administration of leave, benefits,government grants and claims, employee handbooks
- Office admin, coordinating and support
- Execute statutory requirements such as submissions of documents such as IR8A, IR21, government surveys.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, proactively ensuring compliance in all HR practices
- Plan and organise employee engagement initiatives, including staff welfare events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Provide administrative support when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience (minimum 2 to 3 years) as an HR Generalist or similar role, executing a wide range of HR functions.
- Possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to advise and interact with employees of all levels
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of local employment laws, e.g. Employment Act, CPF Ac and etc is preferred
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Google Workspace like Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Integrity and high level of discretion is required in this role
- Well-organised, attentive to details
