1. Secretarial and Admin Functions
- Providing secretarial and admin support to lawyers and executives, as required or according to work arrangement.
- Attending to general file administration, including file opening, sorting and closing processes.
- Conducting searches on publicly available databases.
- Populating checklists upon receipt of relevant details and client documents.
- Organising and maintaining physical corporate secretarial files storage system according to established protocol.
- Billing, recording disbursements and follow up on accounts receivables.
- Attending to guests, arrange for despatch and usual secretarial and admin functions for a law office.
- Assisting law firm in overall office admin requirements.
Suitable candidates with relevant experience or aptitude will also be considered for higher level functions such as:
(i) Trademark Functions
Handling all aspects of the firm's trademark administrative and secretarial work including attending to trademark application, trademark renewal and other trademark related issues, tracking deadlines and coordinating trademark communications with foreign associates.
(ii) Other Work
- Conducting research work for legal and other assignments.
- Reviewing documents for compliance with existing protocols, such as AML checklists & secretarial file organisation
- Other admin, human resource and ad hoc tasks, such as assisting with implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures of certain admin and human resource work processes.
