We are looking for a strong, ambitious, experienced team manager / sales manager who is capable of handling the work of the sales and marketing department for the Japanese market.
As this is a human centric role which requires a leader with strong influential and people management skills to be coupled with a positive sale driven attitude - the person needs to be able to execute sales strategy and management plan confidently and with accountability to sales performance.
The person must be comfortable talking to a wide audience and can demonstrate the ability to coach and train new hires through their initial learning curve, maintain cohesion and camaraderie within the team to deliver consistent sales volume and groom top sales performing benchmark for the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist in building and managing each portfolio of the sales department by acquiring new clients;
- Quality control of the work of customer sales service department (listening and evaluating a conversation, eliminating errors);
- Assessment of the effectiveness of team, preparation of proposals to improve the quality of work;
- Development and implementation of tools aimed at increasing the involvement and effectiveness of the team;
- Working with the head of marketing department to search for new campaigns and lead sources.
- Reports the results of the Director and VP.
- Team / People Management: Lead Japanese team, interview, hire & train new employees, professional development of the team /individually, conducting master classes, and managing team targets.
- Liaise with other departments to escalate and resolve all client issues in a timely manner to ensure a consistently high level of client service
- Identify process improvements and maintain a full knowledge of Client Services manuals and procedures
- Undertake such other duties, training and / or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general responsibility of this role. This may entail occasional after hours’ support
Requirements:
- Diploma and above with at least 3 to 5 years of sales experience
- Team management experience is a MUST
- Native Japanese
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Positive mind set and enjoy taking accountability of sales performance
- Able to thrive in a fast pace environment and undertake sales deliverables challenges
- Good interpersonal, influencing and coaching skills
- Ability to multi-task and can work independently
