Job Summary: The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the organization’s needs. You will be handling procurement for both Singapore and Germany entity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Sourcing & Management:
- Identify and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, including prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
2. Procurement Planning & Strategy:
- Collaborate with departments to determine procurement needs and develop a strategic plan.
- Forecast demand and ensure stock levels meet organizational requirements.
- Prepare and monitor procurement budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
3. Purchase Order Management:
- Prepare and process purchase orders for goods and services.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of products or services.
- Manage vendor invoices and ensure accurate processing and payment.
4. Market Research & Cost Control:
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
5. Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to procurement activities, including supplier performance.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Finance, Logistics, and Operations) to align procurement with company needs.
- Train and supervise procurement assistants and junior team members.
Qualification & Experience:
Degree, Diploma or equivalent Min 2 years’ experience. Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with peers. Detail-oriented, adept at multitasking and managing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
