We are seeking an energetic, data-driven, and customer-centric Account Manager to join our growing Global Growth team. This person will be responsible for supporting the success of Growth clients’ Outbrain Amplify campaigns. They will learn to build relationships and establish clear lines of communication with prospects, clients and internal team members.
The ideal candidate is analytical and an enthusiastic self-starter who is ready to dive in, identify opportunities for clients, respond to inbound requests, and drive the best possible customer experience in a dynamic environment.
A day in the life
- Support inbound leads and clients within APAC: Japan (60%), ANZ and SEA (40%)
- Manage client kick-off calls and onboarding processes to help educate them on Outbrain’s best practices and optimizations for campaign success
- Support the daily work flow of Growth client accounts
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues in a timely manner
- Monitor campaign performance and provide data-based insights to help clients with their strategy and optimization
- Manage and grow your own book of business by identifying opportunities and helping your clients achieve the best ROAS possible.
- Provide excellent communication via phone, email, and video
- Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
What you’ll bring
- 2-3 years of experience in digital advertising or marketing
- Fluent and proficient in Japanese (as 60% of the existing clients are Japanese)
- Go-getter attitude; Hungry to interface with clients to achieve revenue goals through direct selling, upselling, and renewals.
- Analytical; Comfortable digging through data, manipulating it in excel, and drawing out impactful insights and trends for your clients.
- Attention to detail; You’re very organized, with the ability to adjust priorities based on client needs
- Able to work independently and as part of a team while balancing multiple tasks
- Possess the technical aptitude and desire to learn the intricacies of the Outbrain system and to leverage that knowledge to help clients with support issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to execute efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Able to politely interact with clients but also be confident and assertive
- Experience with 3rd party digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Doubleclick, Tableau, Salesforce, etc. is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft applications, especially Excel
- Background in pre-sales/sales is a plus
