Job responsibilities:
Responsible for the skilful, timely and accurate collection of blood specimens from patients as requested by the clinician using any of the appropriate techniques: Venipuncture, Capillary collection – fingerstick or heelstick and Blood culture specimen collection
Ensure timely and accurate collection of breath sample for the Urea Breath Test.
Acquire knowledge and skills on Laboratory Information System and required IT systems.
Assist in managing and inventorize supplies in the laboratory.
Rotate duties between Hospitals as determined by Manager.
Work alongside laboratory manager and colleagues to achieve total quality service and customer satisfaction.
Maintain tidiness of workplace.
Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
