Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development and expansion of Huawei Cloud’s partner ecosystem across the APAC region, with a focus on driving market penetration, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships.
- Develop and implement high-impact business development strategies, integrating market intelligence, competitive analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate the cloud partner business unit’s growth trajectory.
- Lead and influence the execution of complex, multi-stage sales motions, managing cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-value solutions for enterprise clients.
- Conduct advanced market research, competitor benchmarking, and data-driven analysis to optimize partner segmentation and prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Design, execute, and lead high-level workshops and strategic engagements with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and technical decision-makers to align Huawei Cloud solutions with partners’ and customers’ business objectives.
- Own end-to-end partner pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting of partner-led deals, with a strong focus on performance metrics, ROI, and strategic impact.
- Mentor and guide a high-performing regional partner development team, ensuring alignment with global and
- regional business objectives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Directly report to Huawei Cloud's Managing Director, providing insights, strategic recommendations, and solutions for optimizing regional sales and partner relationships.
- Work with minimal supervision, proactively driving initiatives that exceed revenue targets while ensuring adherence to business policies, processes, and governance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field; additional certifications in Cloud technologies are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in business development or partner management within the ICT/cloud industry, with a focus on delivering transformative cloud solutions in complex environments.
- Extensive pre-sales and post-sales experience within the cloud ecosystem, with a robust track record of managing partner relationships and driving end-to-end solution adoption.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams while aligning business and technical goals.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex deals and navigating competitive, high-stakes environments to deliver business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies and their application to various industries, with a strong ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, exhibiting resilience, strategic thinking, and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a consistent history of engaging and influencing senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with overseas and local Chinese speaking associates.
