Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day business operations of the retail store; liaising with customers in order to ensure a transaction goes smoothly. You are expected to help customers choose between the company’s array of goods and services, process payments and maintain a high-level of customer service and relations. You may be involved in handling pets too.
Job Description
- Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store.
- Perform cashiering function / Cashiering counter closing.
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
- Promoting products by upselling and cross-selling.
- Handling customer complaints and feedback
- Performing pet care and hygiene (in outlets with live small animals)
- Arranging product displays and maintaining sales floor appearance and cleanliness
- Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets.
- Stocktaking, replenishing stocks, ordering and receiving goods.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- only PR / Singaporean may apply
- Must be able to work at Causeway Point or Jurong Point
- A strong team player with a courteous, positive and customer service oriented attitude
- Willing to learn and like to meet people
- Good communication skills
- Able to commit retail working hours including weekends and public holidays (off on a weekday)
- No prior experience requirement.
- On job training will be provided.
