Responsibilities:
• Welcome and engage with patients, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
• Assist chiropractors with patient assessments, including taking histories and spinal examinations (Including palpation, range of motion and postural assessment)
• Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Provide education and answer basic questions about chiropractic treatment procedures
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information and care plans
• Manage insurance claims and billing processes
• Ensure proper maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of equipment and office
• Act as a liaison between chiropractors and patients, effectively relaying information and instructions
• Supervise and train other assistants or new staff members when necessary
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a chiropractic assistant or in a similar role
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic office software
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements
