Reports to the Outlet Manager. He/She is also responsible for ensuring that the Restaurant operates smoothly and customers are happy. He/She assumes the duties of the Outlet Manager (other than opening and locking up the Restaurant) when the Manager is not around.
1. Welcome guests into the Restaurant.
2. Coordinate the seating of the guests. Assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
3. Take and schedule reservations.
4. Oversee the flow of customers into and out of the restaurant.
5. Manage busy lobby when no tables available.
6. Establish proper atmosphere and efficiency in the dining room.
7. Ensure proper set-up and cleanliness of front counter, sidewalk, entryway, dessert station and restroom areas.
8. Ensure that the customers’ requests are not delayed.
9. Inform the Outlet Manager of any special requests from guests.
10. Ensure smooth operations of the Restaurant by helping with odd jobs.
11. Provide clear information relating to the restaurant’s operation hours, dress code, food service, etc. to the guests.
12. Recognise regular guests and highlight to the service staff and outlet chef about the particular guest’s preferences.
13. Responsible for supervising the weekly cleaning program. You are responsible for ensuring that all stated areas are cleaned and check boxes ticked off.
