Oversee the accounting function, including managing the daily operations, maintaining accounting systems and records in accordance to SFRS/IFRS and internal reporting requirements, preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing work prepared by the Accounting Specialist
Manage treasury functions including payments, monitor cash flow position and ensure healthy cash flow forecast
Oversee tax function and ensure compliance, including review of tax schedules, timely statutory filings and relevant documentation
Manage the annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion
Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting as well as adequate risk management including appropriate documentation
Implement process excellence projects to improve efficiency, enhance internal controls and compliance including process diagnostics and use of technologies
Work closely with functional departments to support and ensure smooth implementation of new business activities
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Business or a related field
Minimum 5 years working experience in a related field, including minimum 2 years in a public accounting firm
Strong structural, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge in accounting (IFRS) and tax regulations, operational risk management and design of internal control systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good team player and willingness to work in multicultural environment
