Roles and Responsibility :

• Create a fun and comfortable learning environment for students
• Supervision primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework
• Prepare and execute creative lesson plans that make learning fun
• Innovate new teaching methods to help students excel in their studies
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of children from school to student centre
• Regular liaison with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and behaviour
• Organise school holiday activities and programs
• Be a role model and inspiration for the student
• Counselling and addressing student behaviour as needed

Requirements :

• Minimally Good O level or Above
• Able to guide primary school subjects
• Possess excellent work ethics and integrity
• Exhibit a positive attitude when faced with challenges
• Love children and the learning process
• Have experience in teaching children, preferably at primary level

Working hours are weekdays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Once accepted for the program, the main responsibility will be implementing and supervising all aspects of daily learning and development activities for children enrolled in the student care centre.

Job Description

• Conduct 1-to-1 and group classes from lesson planning, lecture, demonstration, and relevant class exercises/activities
• Inspire and motivate students to excel in attaining their objectives for having tuition classes: be it exam preparation and academic improvement
• Evaluate the students' progress through regular standard feedback processes

Requirements

• Minimum: degree holder
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and spoken Mandarin.
• Passion to teach and participate in education reform
• Aptitude to work in a professional learning community
