Accounts Executive

Job description:

• Good in numerical and communication skills

We are currently looking for a Legal Secretary with relevant qualifications and experience needed to provide secretarial support to our law firm.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Administrative support to lawyers: managing schedules, calendar, calls, travel bookings, appointment reservations and recurring commitments
• Legal file management: organising file lists, maintaining calendars and deadlines for matters.
• Document management: organisation of documents, emails, and correspondence
• Document processing: proofreading, formatting, creating and editing PDF documents, engrossing letters, compiling bundles etc.
• Managing contact and client lists
• Assisting with e-litigation (Court filings and calendar) and searches (high court, e-lit, ACRA, ICMS, SLA Title search etc)
• Perform conflict checks
• Experience in creating LinkedIn posts and website updates would prove an advantage
• Other office support activities as assigned

Requirements

• With prior experience in the related field
• Knowledge and familiarity with e-Litigation systems preferable
• Proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook)
• Independent and meticulous
• Fluent in English, excellent communication skills. Additional languages are a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, meticulous, efficient & organised
• Work location: CBD Area
• Working hours: 9am – 6pm. Mondays to Friday
• Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.

Remuneration is between $2,500 - $3,500 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Requirements

· Associates with up to 6 years of post-qualification experience (6PQE) in commercial disputes

· Experience working on high value and complex commercial/civil disputes and international arbitration matters, with particular experience with SIAC rules and UNCITRAL rules

· Experience coordinating and organising conferences, talks and events

· An independent self-starter who demonstrates initiative and prioritises work effectively and efficiently

· Fluency in a second regional language (e.g. Hindi) required, to support firm and client needs
