Job Description

As a Section Head for Instrumentation & Control team at TSDP, your job role will include, but is not limited to the following :

• Lead, plan and implement maintenance activities to ensure its reliability in supporting operational requirements
• Manage and attend to troubleshooting breakdown maintenance, including after office hours
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize instrument and system performance.
• Responsible for calling of Quotations, Tenders and implementing analyser/instrumentation projects in the plant
• Managing I&C equipment assets according to requirements
• Managing the I&C maintenance budget effectively, including cost estimation, procurement of materials, and resource allocation
• Maintaining accurate records of I&C maintenance activities and instrument performance to inform decision-making and future planning.
• During the course of the work, you may be required to work closely with departments, consultants and contractors.
• Manage contracts related to ICA equipment to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget
• Keep abreast of new technologies to enhance reliability and improve productivity

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics)
• At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance (Instrumentation & Control) in plant environment
• Strong working knowledge on commissioning, troubleshooting and implementation of SCADA system
• Proficiency in AVEVA SCADA system, including its configuration, deployment, and maintenance is essential
• Project management experience for plant instrument replacement project and able to integrate the new instruments into SCADA system
• Hands on cybersecurity knowledge and practice will be an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and driven
• Work well independently and also a good team player
• Able to work effectively under pressure and make critical operational and maintenance decisions
• Willing to work in peripheral regions of Singapore
