Reporting to: Marketing Manager based in Singapore
Mission:
This role will be responsible for the adaptation and execution of marketing plans for the assigned brands such as Christian Louboutin Beauty and Byredo, in the Travel Retail Asia Pacific perimeters, in order to achieve the objectives that have been set in terms of brand visibility, awareness, net revenues and profitability.
This is an end-to-end brand/product management role where you will work with multiple stakeholders across functions and markets (4 sub-regions – North Asia, South East Asia, Greater India, Oceania). As the brand custodian, the brand manager must not only uphold the brand equity but must also be commercially driven with your finger on the pulse of the market, in order to identify growth opportunities for the brands in the respective markets.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Brand Management
· Lead the development and implementation of brand plans in collaboration with Commercial Team for brands under his/her responsibility:
o Marketing launch and trade animation calendars
o Prepare and cascade launch strategies and post launch assessments
o Work hand in hand with digital business team to champion digital marketing initiatives, including finding synergies from offline to online to enhance brand visibility
o Monitor and analyze brand performances
o Prepare business reviews and clients presentations
· Optimize brand portfolio through annual assortment review.
· Ensure brand image and Global messages are respected and aligned with brand standards.
· Provide regional action plan for slow movers to minimize financial penalty to the business unit.
· Lead annual forecasting exercise of assigned brands’ novelties in collaboration with Area Managers and Retail team. Process includes detailed analysis of:
o Performance benchmarking with past launches
o Setting and implementation of launch guidelines
o Estimation of prices and valorization of forecasts for budgeting purposes
· Work closely with demand planning team to manage product forecasts.
· Collect data from agency to understand customer behavior.
Pricing
· In collaboration with Commercial Team and Business Analyst, support pricing exercise through pricing studies, analysis, and recommendation.
· Organize and review annual competitive price surveys.
· Update RSP in the pricing portal after alignment with Global Pricing team.
Digital and Trade Marketing
· In partnership with retail and education team, create engaging brand experiences to enhance the traveller’s shopper experience.
· Ensure best in class POS execution of assigned brands in close collaboration with Commercial and Retail team.
· Development and management of sell-out tools.
· Planogram review of assigned brands with Commercial and Retail team.
· Manage brands’ e-tailer presence and site content to ensure the e-merchandising is adapted to the platform and aligned to brands’ guidelines.
· Responsible for E-Commerce website maintenance.
Others
· Marketing budget management
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar position from the beauty industry, travel retail experience is a plus.
- Education: Degree holder in Marketing or Business.
- Languages: Fluent in written and conversational English. Essential to have competency in spoken and written Chinese,
