Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
· Plan, implement and configure engineering design applications with data integration on the projects
· Develop and manage procedures and reports for data quality within Engineering Design
· Work closely with application owners to ensure applications development or changes are fully tested, documented and approved in accordance with procedures.
· Liaise with the Engineering Design IT applications resource pool in Aibel for improvement to the system portfolio
· Take prompt and proactive action for problem resolution as well as handle planned preventive maintenance and upgrades.
· Monitor system performance to ensure continuous smooth operation of all systems in the project.
· Plan, coordinate and arrange training for End-users of the Engineering Design application for various projects.
· Ensure all IT application system are in compliance with cyber security standards.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Work Experience
· Preferable 5-8 years relevant work experience in handing Oracle databases.
· Good understanding of Life Cycle information and Data Quality
· Experience from management of digital initiatives is a plus.
Qualifications
· Bachelor Degree within Engineering, Information science, or similar (relevant experience may substitute formal education)
Other Skills
· IT savvy, proficient in the use of office tools
· Knowledge of database tools and programming languages is preferred
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· A collaborative attitude
· A good communicator, ability to describe and present complex system in a simple way
· Like to Automate task
· Python, Visual basic
· Effective written and verbal communication skills to write project reports and present technical issues to the design team and external parties.
· Effective project management, problem-solving, leadership, people skills.
In addition, the job holder will have the following job specific requirements:
· Ability to travel at short notice
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to perform overtime work as necessary
