School of Infocomm - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (CET and Skills Future)
[What you will be working on]
The school is looking for dynamic individuals with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
You will be involved in making a significant impact in keeping up with RP’s CET plans and future goals.
• Analyse market trends and data to propose training courses and implement marketing campaigns by utilizing insights to attract prospective applicants.
• Engage with companies, tailoring CET programs to meet specific workforce upskilling requirements. Propose customization will be the bridge between corporate needs and course delivery.
• Drive marketing efforts through physical events and social media initiatives. Enhance the online presence of our CET offerings, captivating both individual learners and corporate accounts alike.
As an academic staff, you will also support our full time and part-time course offerings in areas related to Software Development, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, FinTech, AI and other foundational ICT modules.
• Implement and administer module delivery, related activities (including student assessments and assignments) to meet learning outcomes.
• Plan, design and develop module curriculum, learning activities and materials.
You will have the opportunities to develop and grow your capabilities through industry projects or academic research projects and professional learning communities.
[What we are looking for]
Applicants should have a relevant qualification in IT / Computer Science, with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience. Applicants should be proficient in two or more of the following areas:
• Programming languages such as Python, Java, Powershell, bash.
• Development of mobile and web applications and software testing.
• Containerization platforms and/or cloud deployment technologies.
• IT Audit and Compliance, Personal Data Protection.
• Penetration Testing / Digital Forensics.
• TensorFlow/PyTorch, DeepSpeed/Megatron-LM. LLM frameworks
