Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technical engineers and technicians to ensure all concrete products supplied meet customer’s specification.
- Evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of concrete products.
- Research and develop new concrete products and improve concrete performance.
- Apply cutting-edge concrete technology and raw materials for the development of concrete products.
- Establish good working relationships and build a good rapport with representatives from statutory bodies (BCA, LTA, HDB etc), consultants and customers in order to get more funding for our concrete development projects.
- Facilitate technical sessions to upskill our technical managers and engineers.
- Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Civil or Materials Science Engineering
- Good knowledge in Civil engineering, Construction technology, Material science, Concrete technology and Production.
- Well versed in laboratory tests, relevant standards and specifications.
- A team player who is equipped with good leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Eager to learn, innovative, and possesses the initiative to acquire new technology and skills.
