You will be part of a dynamic Service Department that offers ample opportunities for professional development and growth. This role reports directly to the Service Manager for the ASEAN region.
About the Job
With their expanding presence in the APAC region, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer & Network Specialist to provide exceptional technical support and service. You will be responsible for:
- Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining medical simulation equipment (both hardware and software) at customer sites.
- Providing timely solutions to technical issues and maintaining accurate records of service requests in the CRM system.
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Sales Teams, and other stakeholders to define hardware, software, and system specifications before installations.
- Conducting network setup, software updates, system reimaging, and repair work both in-house and on-site as required.
- Delivering installation, integration, documentation, and training to support the operation of hardware and software in various customer network environments.
- Traveling up to 40% throughout the year to customer locations as required.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in IT, Electronics, or Electromechanical disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a customer-facing role.
- Proficiency in networking and IT skills, particularly in network administration and TCP/IP protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Highly Desirable:
- Previous field engineer or network support experience.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and ability to think critically and analyze systems.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
