Job Responsibilities:
• Provide support to import/export shipments processing and arrangement
• Co-ordination with various parties (including customers, overseas agents,
carriers, NVOCC, co-loaders) on shipments clearance/delivery/collection
• Handle a full spectrum of import and export documentation.
• Create job information into the system
• Handle billing, costings and ensure prompt invoicing to customers.
• Prepare manifest.
• Liaise with carriers, feeder operators, vendors, overseas offices and customers.
• Checking of vessel berthing & schedules.
• Liaise with service providers and customers on shipments arrangement
• Daily monitoring shipments (arrival date, depart date, time, short landed, survey,
missing)
• Handling DG Declaration, Portnet and Tradenet usage – an advantage.
• Any other Adhoc duties assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum GCE “N” or “O” level
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in shipping/freight forwarding
• Possess good communication and customer service skills; a detailed and
organized person who is a good team player
• Pleasant personality with positive working attitude
• Interested in customer service, data entry and doing documentation
• Proficient in PC application (MS Word, Excel)
