Job Description

• Serves food and beverage to guest according to prescribed service standards and procedures
• Maintains the cleanliness and service supply at the service station to ensure prompt and effective operation.
• Familiarizes with all food and beverage items in the menu, items on promotions and daily special menu, its ingredients, method of preparation, portion size and presentation to be able to deliver ideal service maximizing guest satisfaction.
• Practices suggestive selling to boost food & beverage sales, at the same time increase guest satisfaction.
• Accomplishes and forwards orders to the kitchen; efficiently and correctly key in order from POS
• Confirms satisfaction with the guest, and informs supervisor or manager immediately in case of guest complains.
• Handles guest’s bill and invoice in a good service manner.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in hospitality business.
• Knowledgeable in various kinds of food and beverage would be an added advantage.
• Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.

We are looking for an Outlet Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

As an Outlet Manager, your responsibilities includes maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Back of the house management experience is also essential, as you’ll hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.

You are expected to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• To coordinating daily restaurant management operations.

Requirements

• Prior work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
• Prior customer service experience as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
• BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
• Singaporeans and PRs preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares and ensures consistently excellent quality and standard of food. Tests cooked food and checks on its original appearance and freshness.
• The Sous Chef also assists to ensure the kitchen’s safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times, and that staff is obeying sanitation rules.
• Supervises and monitors the quality of all food prepared in the kitchen under the supervision of the Executive Sous Chef. Checks constantly for its taste, temperature and visual appearance. Makes sure that all dishes are of consistently good quality and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
• Ensures all food is consistently prepared and presented according to company standards
• Controls food costs by following proper storage procedures, standardized recipes, and waste control procedures.
• Assists Food Service Coordinator in maintaining the standard of cleanliness and organization in kitchens and food storage areas
• Aids in identifying and analysing ongoing training needs of staff throughout the year
• Assists and gives feedback on weekly/monthly menu changes
• Manages and reduces food wastes, based on thorough analysis.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Executive Sous Chef

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in relevant field
• A self-starter and team player with excellent communication skills
• Committed to serving food of the highest quality
• Willing to work shifts and on weekends and public holidays
• Well-versed knowledge and good understanding of hygiene, health and safety practices
• Have a strong working knowledge in Japanese cuisine
• Possess WSQ Food Safety Level 1 Certification

• To investigate causes and reasons for customer complaints pertaining to food quality.
• Any other duties as assigned by Sous Chef or Outlet Manager, including performing Steward duties.

Requirements

• Minimum possess a Professional Certificate/NITEC.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant work experiences.
• Possess a valid Food and Hygiene Certificate.
