Mission

To be the Technical Specialist on Process Engineering for the BLOCK29 project, within the E&P business to ensure the best facilities concept according to the Repsol necessities.

Functions

1. Manage the technical challenges related to Process Engineering for Block29 Facilities.

2. Ensure the coherence of the solutions to technical problems that require a very deep knowledge of the Process Engineering topics.

3. Defines the basis to develop and comment technical guides, procedures and specifications related to Process Engineering.

4. Advises on latest technologies to improve Process Engineering activities in terms of cost, time and performance.

5. Defines the strategy Process Engineering and leads the deployment thereof.

6. Develops and manages internal stakeholder networks to identify strategic performance improvement opportunities.

7. Advises on specific facilities design optimization activities and other highly complex technical decisions related to Process Engineering, in accordance with established standards, safe practices, risk analysis, legislation and respect for the environment.

Mission

• Support the FPSO Project Engineer and the FPSO Delivery Manager to deliver the B29 FPSO FEED works as per the FEED contract terms.

Functions

• Supervises the FPSO contractor during FEED engineering activities.
• Ensure the FPSO FEED engineering is delivered on time, quality, and budget.
• Prepares responses for technical queries from FPSO contractor.
• Coordinates the meetings between contractor and Company engineering disciplines.
• Ensure the FPSO activities comply with the Project requirements and list of applicable codes and regulations.
• Ensure FPSO compliance with Project´s Basis of Design.
• Maximizes the value of the B29 Project through optimization of FPSO design.
• Assessed the different alternatives for specific topics related to FPSO design and proposes optimum solution taking into account safety, cost, reliability and flexibility.
• Maximizes the value of FEED contract variations through cost/schedule-benefit analysis.
• Ensure constructability of the FPSO execution scope.
• Coordinate the communication between the FPSO FEED contractor team and Repsol team.
• Participate in key FPSO design reviews, risk assessment workshops and main inspection activities. Drive engineering efficiency, secure safety in design, design-to-cost and constructability.
• Participate in the Project risk management plan. Capitalize the Project opportunities to increase Project value. Identify the main technical risks and propose mitigation actions.
