Job Summary:
The PR Internal & External Relations Specialist is responsible for building and promoting a positive public image for the company and managing effective communication channels both within the organization and with external audiences. This role will involve developing PR strategies, overseeing media relations, coordinating internal communications, and supporting community engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Prepare press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials to highlight company milestones, events, and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, and track PR metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep employees informed, motivated, and engaged with the company’s goals and activities.
- Develop and disseminate internal newsletters, announcements, and updates on company news and initiatives.
- Support leadership in preparing key messages, presentations, and talking points for internal events and meetings.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a strong internal culture and improve team morale.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key community organizations, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, and community outreach that align with company values and goals.
- Plan and oversee external events such as product launches, sponsorship activities, and community involvement programs to strengthen brand perception.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with media and other external stakeholders.
- Experience in event planning and project management.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content management, and PR analytics tools.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage crisis communications.
- Experience with employee engagement and internal communication strategies.
- Strong networking skills and a passion for community engagement.
