Job Description:
As a Project Supervisor for Fire Alarm Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems. You will manage the day-to-day operations of fire alarm projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians and installers during fire alarm projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule fire alarm installation and maintenance work.
- Ensure compliance with all local fire safety regulations, standards, and codes.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of work to ensure the highest standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, inspections, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supervising fire alarm installation or related projects.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, safety codes, and regulations (e.g., NFPA standards).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in budgeting and resource allocation is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in fire alarm systems or safety are a plus (e.g., NICET).
- Ability to work in both office and field environments, as needed.
