Common Core Cluster Operations and Admin Centre (CC COAC) provides operations and administrative support to 2 schools: the School of Mathematics and Sciences (MS) and School of Life Skills and Communication (LSC).
MS offers core and elective modules in mathematics, statistics, physics, IT and programming, and data analytics for all students in engineering, technology and business courses in SP. LSC anchors the foundational modules taken by all SP students. The school is committed to develop critical and creative thinkers, confident communicators and self-directed learners ready for life, work and the world.
The incumbent will be part of the CC COAC team which provides administrative support to the various functions for both MS and LSC at cluster level. He or she is expected to work closely with all levels of staff and the schools’ external stakeholders.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities:-
- Manage stakeholder enquiries through SP’s Customer Relations Management (CRM) system, phone enquiries and attending counter duties
- Provide administrative support to adjunct lecturers (ALs) including processing monthly claims and creation of letter of appointments
- Plan, coordinate and implement internal and external school and cluster events such as staff welfare and team-building events
- Procurement and management of office equipment and resources
- Review, enhance and develop processes and services to support operations of both schools
- Maintain various school/cluster databases
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:-
- At least 4-8 years’ relevant work experience in office administration and provision of secretariat support
- People-oriented with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven, independent and a team player with good event organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe applications. Proficiency in other digital platforms such Power BI and Padlet would be an advantage
- Knowledge/experience in student management systems/processes would be an advantage
Successful applicant will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
