Job Requirements

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the Senior Executive, Operations Planner will be responsible for managing the approval process for flexibags and ensuring that all stowage planning is properly managed. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all shipping operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve requests for flexibags shipments
• Develop and implement processes for the efficient and effective management of flexibags approvals
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper stowage and handling of flexibags
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Develop and manage the shipping operations budget, including forecasting, planning, and monitoring of expenses related to flexibags
• Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across our shipping operations
• Ensure that our teams are trained, motivated, and equipped to meet the challenges of a dynamic and evolving shipping industry

As the Assistant Executive, Business Process, you will be responsible for providing system support, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and executing SOP activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of business processes through effective system support and UAT testing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in the maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting of existing systems and applications, and other business-critical systems. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve system issues, implement system changes, and ensure smooth operation of business processes.
