Role
Engage the new project and be responsible for process optimization, operational support, and improvement by engineering viewpoint. Coordinate and implement for plant modification job (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumental (including DCS), Civil work) with relevant parties including the vendors and contractors
Responsibilities
- Implement new project, regarding Energy saving.
- Creation and organization of related documents (eg. Hazop/LOPA, drawing, standard operation procedure etc.)
- Execution of on-site construction (refer to following)
- Trouble shooting of production process (Identify root cause and suggest improvement plan)
- Implement plant optimization test
- Create Study report with chemical engineering knowledge (including modeling and calculation).
- Prepare improvement plan and create related documents (Change of Control etc.)
- Check and review the drawing / P&ID
- Follow up local regulatory / government issues for Permits, License
- Check and review the construction work by vendor (included Risk assessment)
- Commissioning new facility and equipment (verification)
- Handover the new facility and equipment to Production and Maintenance department
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering preferably
- 3 years’ experience from refinery / petrochemical industry commitment for Engineering modification job and study
- Consider and study items on your own initiative and report it to your boss closely.
- Experience in modification job in a leading position.
- Good communication with all level and function within the organization.
Other Information
- Jurong Island, MNC, Japanese Petrochemical company
- Basic ranging from $4,300 - $4,800 + Allowance + 13 Month AWS + 2 to 4 Months Variable Bonus
- 5 days' work week, Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
- Company transport provided at Outram and Jurong East
