Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Collection of waste materials/ recyclables from MSW & ICW premises using REL, PM, Skips, Crane Lorry
• To supervise and reinstate work area (spillage- refuse/recyclables and oil, overflowing refuse/ recyclable etc)
• Disposal of waste/ recyclables collected to authorised disposal facilities
• Proper handling of vehicles, equipment and receptacles
• To ensure vehicles are kept clean and washed daily
• Ensure collection is done in a safe manner in accordance to the company’s SOP
• Working Hours & Location :

Bukit Merah Depot - 6.30am to 2.50pm

With overtime. 6 days work week, with one rest day per week.

Sembcorp Environment (SembEnviro) is seeking a Senior/ Consultant level professional to join our Clean Stream and Waste Advisory team of circularity consultants, technology specialists and waste-related subject matter experts. You will be part of client-facing project teams and initiatives that support the clean stream business. By demonstrating and providing greater value to clients, you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic solutions, acquiring new clients, and growing existing client relationships to ensure business growth across multiple industry sectors in Singapore and around the region.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

You must have a strong desire to execute SembWaste’s vision towards zero waste and resource circularity, by providing clients with the strategy, concepts and insights, analytical techniques, implementation capabilities, and thought leadership to understand, address, and operate their businesses successfully.

• Grow the Clean Stream & Waste Advisory business by delivering strategic solutions to satisfy clients' needs.
• Support the development and implementation of a well-conceived business plan to grow the circularity business and client base for the Group.
• Be responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements, including directing the development of processes and techniques that improve the operation of the business and develop marketable solutions.
• Be an active participant in industry groups and have a well-established network with executives within the waste industry.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• 5-7+ years of experience in the waste-related consulting industry underpinned by demonstrated customer success.
• Understanding financial metrics such as profitability, revenue, overhead costs and project finance.
• Proven experience facilitating collaboration among cross-functional, highly technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to research, develop, and launch new market solutions, products or services.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex findings into executable strategic insights and recommendations for both executive and mid-management stakeholders.

Purpose and Scope

Act as a business partner for the business units assigned in the implementation of a robust risk management and internal control system. Be part of the first line of defense to drive the business growth and sustainability by embedding an adequate culture and awareness of risk management within Singapore and Southeast Asia markets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert on risk management and the Integrated Assurance Framework and provide necessary guidance and support to manage the risk management & internal control system within the daily business operations.
• Identify and assess the key financial, operations, compliance and IT risks to the business and recommend practical solutions or controls to assist the business in managing and monitor those key risks. Whenever relevant, advise on process / controls improvements to address the underlying issues associated with the risks.
• Establish the indicators to monitor the risk performance and perform ongoing monitoring of those risk indicators.
• Report the risk performance and work closely with the relevant business / functions to close out all outstanding action items identified.
• Review and assess the risks for new investments and projects and provide necessary support in putting the appropriate measures for control.
• Monitoring and follow up on management action plans arising from risk surveys, external reviews and integrated audits
• Perform risk related analysis and provide insight to drive risk value add to the business.
• Enhance risk awareness and culture through series of training / seminars and aim building a robust risk management culture to the markets.
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders by supporting the implementation of key initiatives such as BCM and insurance from Group Risk and act as the key risk point of contact for all Group Risk related matters.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Degree qualified in the fields of Economics, Engineering, Commerce or Accounting and Finance.
• Minimum 6 years of Risk and Control related working experience.
• Good knowledge of risk management and control concepts, leading risk management practices and standards.

• To assist in the disposal of waste/recyclables to material recovery facility, C&D plant or any other authorized disposal facilities
