Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage full spectrum of accounting functions in accordance with statutory requirements, financial accounting regulations, company policies and procedures
2. Supervise a small team, provide guidance, resolving accounting discrepancies and review their work
3. Review processes and internal controls and taking the lead as project leader for any automation or improvement in processes
4. Compiling financial reports and supervising month/year end closing activities
5. Review WIP and Debtors ageing report
6. Ensure revenue, expenses and accruals are recorded appropriately
7. Assist with annual budgeting & forecast exercise
8. Handle corporate tax, GST filing and overseas VAT matters, government statistical reporting etc
9. Liaise and coordinate with external parties on different aspects including but not limited to audit, tax agents and corporate secretary matters
10. Undertake any other ad hoc task assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with min. 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with large reputable organizations. Big 4 professional firms experience would be an advantage.
2. Proficiency in use of computer. Especially excellent MS-Excel skills is a must, experience in MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, Dynamics is an advantage.
3. Strong team-player with good interpersonal skills.
4. Keen on personal development with long term commitment to the company.
5. Good communication skills – both written and oral with ability to communicate to both finance and non-finance teams.
6. Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

At SASS (Singapore Aero Support Services Pte Ltd), we are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong expertise in operational management to join our expanding team.

Working alongside the management team, you will lead and direct a large team of 50 to 60 personnel as part of your daily scope, coupled with extensive reporting and KPI management.

You will be an integral part of the core operations team and it is paramount to cooperate across other operational divisions to achieve common objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistical operational function and ensure KPIs are met.
• To ensure business impact are identified, reported on, and managed at all times.
• To identify and deliver operational excellence across the logistics team.
• To lead and facilitate LEAN / process improvement through digitalisation for the logistics team.
• To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes.
• To actively monitor operational risks to foresee/identify potential problems and provide solution to address it.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Administration and supervision of staff under his charge.
• Perform Data Analysis, setting goals, and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), develop strategies & roadmap, evaluate logistics and warehouse performance, and present regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistic/supply chain management or equivalent work experience in logistics field.
• Min 3 years of working experience in logistic, preferably related to aviation industry.
• Prior experience in managing an operation size of 50-60 personnels will be added advantage.
• Good knowledge on warehouse management using SAP, inventory planning and transport management.
• Good presentation skills and experience in handling industrial relations matters.
• Possess strong leadership skills and driving performance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational/supply chain issues.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and matrix organisation.
• Good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Excel and power point.
