Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for more than one position to support SIMC's training in terms of developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs. The role will depend on the seniority and experience of the right candidate. This is to ensure that all training initiatives align with SIMC's mission and goals and meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and opportunities for partnership.
- Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs.
- Curriculum Development: Create and update training materials, manuals, and resources to ensure they are current and relevant.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the training department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program outcomes. Prepare regular reports for the Executive Director and board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Law, Conflict Resolution, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in mediation, training, or program management. The role will depend on the seniority and experience of the right candidate.
- Skills:
· Strong knowledge of mediation principles and practices.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
· Proficiency in using training software and tools.
