We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Pastry Chef in our kitchen.
Our Assistant Pastry Chefs are required to:
- Work with the team on product development, and formulate new recipes to cater to different demands of the company.
- Refine and improve existing processes.
- Test product rollout training, quality control, and measurement.
- Support the team with relevant information and assistance where required, for marketing and retail purposes
- Ensure smooth operation and that food served is of consistent quality at all times.
- Understand and manage the wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items.
- Maintain the premises of baking area in a neat and hygienic manner.
- Have a good know-how of operating baking machineries and implements.
- Perform all other tasks or projects as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Certification in Patisserie or Bakery
- At least 1 years of experiences as pastry or bakery profession
- Excellent time management skills and ability to self-direct when necessary
- Ability to keep a calm, mature, professional demeanor at all times
