Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and guide a sales team, providing coaching and support to help them achieve individual and team targets.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies in line with the organization's goals, identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and increasing revenue.
3. Foster strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products/services.
4. Monitor and report on sales performance to senior management, analyzing data to inform decision-making and adapt the sales strategy as needed.
5. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure cohesion between sales efforts and overall business goals.
6. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competition, and customer behavior, using insights to shape sales strategies.
7. Cultivate and maintain a high-performance sales culture by setting clear goals, recognizing top performers, and addressing performance issues promptly.
8. Ensure adherence to all sales policies and procedures, including pricing, discounts, and contract terms.
9. Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, networking to promote the organization and generate new business.
10. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills in sales management, staying current with industry best practices, and sharing insights with the sales team to support their professional development.
Requirements:
