We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our front desk team as a Veterinary Receptionist.
Position Overview:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. Your responsibilities include greeting clients, managing appointments, answering phone calls, handling billing, maintaining patient records, and providing information about our services. You'll also ensure the reception area is organized and work closely with the veterinary team to support smooth operations.
Work Schedule
- 5-day work week.
- Weekend shifts required, often scheduled on both weekends.
- Evening shifts (12pm to 9pm) shifts required.
- No fixed schedule. The schedule will be released a month in advance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic office software.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Diploma or equivalent; additional training in veterinary office procedures is a plus.
