Overview
As a Sales Development Manager at SMI Vantage, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth and building lasting relationships with clients. You will be responsible for identifying new clients, nurturing existing client relationships, and ultimately contributing to the achievement of our sales and revenue targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Wine Logistics Business (B2B):
- Evaluate and approach prospective new clients
- Handling existing clients, build and maintain strong relationship to ensure client relation is effectively managed.
- Develop & execute sales and marketing plans.
- Manage meetings and conduct client visits.
- Attend to clients to address any sales-related questions.
- Responsible for sales performance report.
- Conduct competitors’ analysis and stay on market trends.
- Leading project implementations and managing client relationships, including regular reviews and contract negotiations.
- Develop and manage commercial procedures & related documentation
- To manage leads, track progress and ensure timely follow up throughout the sales cycle.
F&B Franchise (B2B)
- Develop sourcing channels for franchisee clients (digital including website, social media, Linkedin, franchise fairs and F&B Associations)
- Approach and evaluate prospective new franchisees
- Assist in conducting thorough due diligence on potential franchisees, including financial viability & operational capability.
- Manage the entire franchise onboarding process, from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for new franchisees.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive training programs for new franchisees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to operational systems and standards across all franchise locations, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Provide monthly franchisee reports for management to evaluate the performance of franchisees
- The Candidate is also expected to identify potential customers and coordinate machine sales to F&B operators, and institutions etc.The Candidate is expected to achieve the sales target goals as set by Management, including the number of franchisees onboarded, and no of machines sold
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a customer (B2B) facing role.
- Possesses and experience in logistics & supply and chain is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Self-driven, adaptive and good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Good negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
- Dedicated to providing a great client service
Reporting Line:
- The successful candidate will report to the SMI Vantage CEO.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director of Provino and the SMI Vantage General Manager responsible of Provino & SMI F&B
