The Partner Development group focuses on the global management of Sony Music's Digital Partners with the goal of maximizing revenue through SME's world class artist catalogue globally.
As the Junior Manager, Partner Development Asia you will support the Partner Development Asia team in managing Sony Music’s macro business relationship with a selection of its largest digital partners across the whole Asia region.
You will be an internal expert on the digital accounts you support, while providing insights and driving initiatives that will assist decision making within multiple departments to help drive sales, market share and partner relationships for Sony Music.
What you'll do:
- Quickly develop extensive expertise of key digital partners across the Asia region.
- Conduct deep dive analyses for special projects focusing on market share, subscriber growth and digital revenue maximization.
- Work closely with the PD Asia analytics function and analysts across the region to turn data into actionable insights and support decision making across multiple departments.
- Project management across various activities related to the partner. This could include supporting content strategies, reporting integration, ongoing analysis of partner performance, problem solving etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams – A&R, marketing, sales teams, business development – and drive actionable insights.
- Build strong relationships with key partners across the region, as well as Sony Music teams on a local- and global level.
- Understand data sources and systems to ensure data integrity and report accuracy.
- Present analysis, special projects and other findings to various teams across Sony Music (including senior management).
Who you are:
- Pro-active and resourceful go-getter who can flourish in a fast paced and hectic environment by identifying opportunities, coming up with creative solutions to maximise those opportunities and driving plans and initiatives through to completion.
- Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree in business and/or digital marketing a plus.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; design experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively report findings and influence change within the organization.
- Passion for music and desire to build a career in the industry.
- Conversational and written fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of a regional language(s) a plus.
