Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Translate drawings over to workable and buildable projects
Cut, shape timber according to measurements/requirements
Installation of wooden fixtures such as cabinets or shelving unit
Maintenance of differing wooden fixtures or repairs
Prepare accurate measurements specifications by using rulers, plumb bops, levels, framing squares
Designing items or components of items according to drawings
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

Can speak and write basic English
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
Good understanding of basic Math
Good physical condition and endurance
Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

Roles & Responsibilities

• Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools.
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels.
• Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results.
• Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly
• Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
• Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles.
• Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage site activities, vendors and sub-contractors
• Attend meeting, coordination, prepare works schedule & site supervision
• Supervise construction and civil works on site.
• Interpret and implement construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawings
• Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues or deviations from plans
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
• Responsible for all aspects of site safety

Job description

• Installation of tiles on different kinds of surfaces.
• Cutting of tiles using different kind of tools, including tile scribes, wet saws and handheld tile cutters.
• Ensure precision and clean edges and straight lines.
• Removal of existing floor coverings
• Taking accurate measurements for tiling area
• Levelling of surface need to be covered
• Able to learn surface plans involve in installation planning.
• Perform pebble washing

Requirement

• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
• Able to start work immediately
• Should be detail oriented

Equipment Design and Development - Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function. Provide Equipment Costing - Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labour, material, delivery and overhead. Responsible for equipment specification and buyoff - Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs and necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards. Design data and calculation for DFMEA process - Design products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible. Sequence study - work with control engineer to optimise the sequence flow through the design optimization. Design for manufacturing DFM. Project management and participate in assembly, installation, operation, trouble shooting of equipment. Documentation - Prepare BOM, Operation Manual, Training Manual, etc.
