SquareX helps organisations detect, mitigate and threat-hunt web attacks happening against their users in real time. With our innovative browser-native security product, SquareX safeguards enterprise users from a spectrum of web-based threats, encompassing malicious files, websites, scripts, and compromised networks.
We are looking for a PR Intern, who will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company’s PR engagements and brand management. Your daily tasks will range from monitoring media coverage and compiling media reports sourcing new journalists leads, updating current databases and finding different media channels to disseminate press news - both from an organic and a paid media angle.
Responsibilities:
- Fully support company’s PR strategy and execute it in different phases
- Curate engaging PR content in consultation with the team
- Effectively utilize company’s social media and blogs - for publicity PR story/angle
- Create and distribute press releases in consultation with team
- Build and update media lists and databases with new journalists, publications and media houses
- Schedule, coordinate and support various events activities
- Perform research and market analysis activities such as weekly competitive analysis of key competitors on Marketing and PR activities
- Track, monitor and document all press releases - organic, owned and paid
- Create monthly reports on PR accomplishments & activities
- Create a centralized resource hub of all published resources on the GTM Drive
- Source past journalists who have covered key tech events on a regular basis
- Source for tech awards and brand awards - both organic and paid
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PR to ensure the company's brand presence remains strong
- Source for different PR avenues to disseminate the release for organic and paid press
- Support on KOL Marketing press activities
- KOL monthly reporting - both consumer & enterprise
- Support on all Events activities
- Support the marketing team in other digital marketing activities as needed
- Assist in administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Familiar with current PR initiatives and best practices
- Strong passion for PR
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging press content
- Willingness to go above and beyond for your team and clients
- Positivity, flexibility, resilience and resourcefulness
- Cybersecurity knowledge and experience is an advantage
- Only Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents
Monthly Salary Range (SGD): $1,200 - $1,500
