As an educator at St Gerard's Preschool, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Collaborating with therapists and other educators to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on their child's progress and development
- Assist the team to develop and execute lesson plans for your respective class.
- Preparing and maintaining portfolios for each child to track their progress and celebrate their achievements..
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Fostering a love of learning through creative and fun activities that inspire curiosity and growth.
Qualification Criteria:
- Posses at least an ACEY certificate or L1 certified.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the early childhood sector.
