Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service and maintenance department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to customer sites or internal workshops.
- Manage parts inventory and procurement, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
- Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of construction machinery, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
