Responsibilities
- Follow MRP to release Purchase Orders (POs) or Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.
- Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers on purchasing issues and track shipment status.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery for all procurement activities.
- Evaluate suppliers for components, materials, and products from local and international sources.
- Negotiate favourable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage and monitor Engineering Changes (EC) closely.
- Maintain adequate warehouse stock levels to support production needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analyze and solve complex issues using thorough evaluation methods.
- Select appropriate methods and procedures for new tasks and lead team activities when required.
- Provide management with purchasing data and reports as needed.
Requirements
- Preferably with a Degree in Business/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the MNC Manufacturing industry.
