Position Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Understand Design and Plan for Civil & Structutal Engineering Works.
- Responsible for timely submission of Quotations, Plans, Progress Claims, and reports to authorities and clients.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure budget compliance.
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management regarding cost performance and project status.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Autocad Drawing.
