The Alternatives Product Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, enhancement and support of State Street’s Alternatives products, services, delivery channels from conceptual stages through research, development, marketing, training, sales programs, financial metrics, and the entire product life cycle in support of the Alternatives products strategic goals and objectives in APAC. This role reports directly into Global Head of Hedge, APAC Head of Alternative Products Solutioning, SVP and will have a regional reporting into APAC Head of Product Management, SVP.

What you will be responsible for

As APAC Alternatives Product Manager, you will

• Understand the APAC markets, competitive forces and client direction to make related product recommendations that ensure competitive positioning and grow market share, including the opportunity to introduce new adjacent offerings
• Partner with the business to drive revenue and profitable growth
• Own product commercials for Alternative products across the region
• Provide subject matter expertise - strong background in the alternatives space and have a solid understanding of the end to end strategic operating model and technology stack. Ability to develop solutions that can be deployed for complex clients.
• Drive solutions - support and partner with teams across our global organization to define and solution critical deals and to ensure that the relevant subject matter experts are consulted and that critical design assumptions and strategic options are thoroughly explored.
• Represent State Street at industry events, participate in client meetings and provide thought leadership
• Research & Market Analysis – keeping up to date with key competitor intelligence and emerging industry trends
• Drive business development and support sales commercialization activities
• Collaborate on commercial topics with key stakeholder and business partners across functions including legal, risk and compliance.

State Street Corporate Audit is looking for a versatile and talented business professional interested in progressing their knowledge, skillset, and career through challenging stretch assignments. In this role you will be responsible for leading audit projects largely within the Australia State Street location but also across the Asia Pacific region covering multiple areas of State Street’s business, developing and maintaining relationships with relevant key internal stakeholders. You will also provide expertise and leadership and be responsible for other corporate audit engagements in this area. In this role you will be based out of Sydney, Australia or Singapore.

As Senior Audit Manager, Vice President you will

• Develop strong operational and regulatory subject matter expertise relevant to their area’s of accountability
• Schedule, oversee and deliver audit engagements, including audit report and issue matrix deliverables, providing the necessary support to audit staff as required
• Develop and maintain influential relationships with senior management through continuous monitoring and governance forum attendance and management reporting as required
• Demonstrate leadership through supervision, coaching and development of staff
• Introduce additional knowledge and experience relevant to State Street’s global business
• Participate in department wide initiatives, challenging the department's organization, processes and services to ensure that they remain at or above peer/ industry standards
• Maintain a current knowledge of audit industry practices and ensure best practices are always considered
• Strengthen internal control disciplines within the corporation by influencing relevant policies, promoting education/ understanding of control concepts.

• In-depth knowledge of financial services industry/ Regulations with knowledge of risk elements including: Investment Management and Asset Management.
• Proven ability to research, interpret and apply regulatory requirements covering the UK, Ireland and International locations.

Who we are looking for

State Street Corporate Audit is looking for a versatile and talented audit professional interested in progressing their knowledge, skillset, and career through challenging stretch assignments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit projects largely within the Singapore State Street location but also across the Asia Pacific region covering multiple areas of State Street’s business. The candidate will have a keen understanding of risks and controls and using their technical/business knowledge to navigate complex business, operational and technology challenges. With a background in internal audit, the successful candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of one or more areas of State Street’s business areas such as Investment Management, Global Markets, Custody or Operations. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of AML/KYC requirements in the region too. In this role you will be based in Singapore. A background in the use of Data Analytics techniques is also desirable.
